Police: Suspected Terrorist Market Rebo Husein Hasni Group, His Role Provide Bomb Test Site

JAKARTA - Densus 88 Counterterror captured a suspected terrorist with the initials W in Pasar Rebo area, East Jakarta on Friday, April 9. It is suspected that this terrorist belonged to the Husein Hasni group who is a former member of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI).

"The suspect W is a terrorist who has been assigned DPO who has a role to plan and participate in knowing the bomb-making in HH's house that has been arrested before", Head of Public Relations Division of Kombes Police Ahmad Ramadhan told reporters, Friday, April 9.

Ramadan said it is suspected that this terrorist has a considerable role in his group. He participated in planning acts of terror and set up a bomb blast test site.

"The suspect W set up a bomb test site in Ciampea area, Bogor. So his two roles are temporarily unknown. So it was declared by investigators Densus 88 brother W DPO and has been arrested", said Ramadhan.

Currently, the suspected terrorist was temporarily placed in the Prison of Jakarta Metro Police. Later, Densus 88 investigators will dig further.

On the other hand, Kombes Ahmad also mentioned that there was one suspected terrorist who participated in the police raid named Noufal Farisi.

So with the capture of 2 suspected terrorists, then, the remaining four fugitives are still being hunted. Because Densus 88 Antiterror published six People Search Lists (DPO).

"Densus 88 has added 3 more DPO that previously there were 3 DPO so that it amounts to 6 DPO namely NF, ARH, YI, W, S, and SA. This from 3 DPO increased to 6 DPO", he said.
