JAKARTA - The Governor of South Kalimantan (Kalsel) Sahbirin Noor or Uncle Birin appeared to the public to lead an employee rally after "disappearing" after the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) held a hand arrest operation (OTT).

Sahbirin Noor was seen wearing official clothes to lead the state civil apparatus (ASN) in the courtyard of the South Kalimantan Governor's Office, Banjarbaru City, Monday, November 11.

The ASN also warmly welcomed the presence of the number one official in South Kalimantan Province because it had not appeared to the public for a long time.

Sahbirin emphasized to ASN and employees/employees within the South Kalimantan Provincial Government that so far he has been in Banua or South Kalimantan.

"I am very happy to see all of your faces today. Alhamdulillah, hopefully Allah SWT will always provide safety to all of us and our Banua will become a thayyibatun baldatun wa rabbun ghofur," said Uncle Birin.

Furthermore, Uncle Birin also advised apple participants to keep working with enthusiasm, always carry out their duties according to their main duties and functions (Tupoksi), complete work targets, succeed food security. and establish synergies with districts/cities throughout South Kalimantan.

Before ending his speech, Uncle Birin again prayed to Allah SWT so that safety would always be given.

"Once again, we pray that all of us, our people, our Banua will be saved by Allah SWT, Amen Ya Rabbal Alamin," said Uncle Birin.

After the apple, Uncle Birin took the time to shake hands with all ASN and employees who caused emotion and tears for all employees.

"Healthy, healthy Uncle. Alhamdulillah, healthy Uncle," said an employee who could not hold back tears.

It is known that KPK investigators have conducted a search for the Governor of South Kalimantan Sahbirin Noor (SHB) to a number of locations.

"The whereabouts of the SHB are unknown, although the KPK has carried out search efforts to several locations," said KPK Spokesperson Team Member Budi Prasetyo when confirmed in Jakarta, Wednesday (6/11).

Budi said Sahbirin's whereabouts were also unknown even when the pretrial hearing took place at the South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday (5/11).

Sahbirin Noor is also known to have received a Notice of Investigation Commencement (SPDP) from the KPK, but the person concerned still did not show himself.

The KPK has also conducted searches in several locations suspected of being hiding places, including offices, official houses, or private houses, but Sahbirin has not yet been found.

On Tuesday (8/10), KPK investigators announced the determination of Sahbirin Noor as a suspect along with six other people related to the alleged bribery case in the procurement of goods and services related to three development projects in South Kalimantan Province.
