JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo highlighted the importance of his commitment to strengthening the solidity of the National Police institution, at the night of appreciation and separation for the commissioners of the National Police for the 2024-2028 period in Jakarta.

"It turns out that we are still given the trust to continue and thank you that the National Police institution remains solid, we must continue to maintain this," said Sigit as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, November 9.

Sigit had mentioned the term of his position which might end in 2024. However, Sigit was trusted to continue his position.

In fact, Sigit had advised his colleagues who were three-star or anyone who wanted to become the National Police Chief to always strengthen the solidity of the Police.

"If anyone wants to be the National Police Chief, anyone can do it, the important thing is to maintain solidity," said Sigit.

Solidity is the most important thing for the National Police Chief because the task of the National Police institution in the future is increasingly difficult, especially being influenced by global situations whose dynamics are uncertain.

The uncertainty in the dynamics has implications for the situation of security and public order in the country.

"The National Police must be solid, both inside the structure and outside the structure," said Sigit.
