Police Dismantle Synthesis Tobacco Home Factory In Cianjur

CIANJUR - Cianjur Police, West Java, dismantled the production of synthetic tobacco-type drugs in Cibinong District.

The police arrested two perpetrators RP (40) and AK (45) who had produced 10 kilograms of synthetic tobacco (Sinte).

Kasat Narkoba Polres Cianjur AKP Septian Pratama said the disclosure of the production of the drug house began with reports from the public who were suspicious of activities in one of the residents' houses who worked as a member of the voting committee (PPS).

"Officers were immediately dispatched to the location to search and arrest the perpetrators of the RP and AK residents of Angkola Village, Sukajadi Village, Cibinong District at home and where Sinte is produced," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, November 7.

During the search, officers found various pieces of evidence ranging from the remaining 60 grams of Sinte, and various tools for producing synthetic tobacco.

During the last two months, the two perpetrators have produced about 10 kilograms of Sinte with a selling value of Rp. 1.5 billion or per kilogram, sold for Rp. 150 million.

However, most of them have been circulated and the remaining 60 grams have been secured as evidence stored in RP's bag.

"A few days ago both of them had produced 1 kilogram of Sinte which was sold to a number of areas in Cianjur and Jakarta, while for the last two months the total sinte they produced was around 10 kilograms," he said.
