JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) asked private companies to provide holiday allowances (THR) to their employees. Moreover, there are already many facilities and incentives provided by the government for private parties in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the future, the government will also accelerate the distribution of aid and social protection. It aims to drive public consumption.

The same has also been conveyed by Coordinating Minister for Economy Airlangga Hartarto after holding a plenary cabinet session on Wednesday, April 7. All private companies, he said, are required to provide THR Idulfitri for their employees.
