What's The Role Of TikToker 'Sadbor' In Online Gambling Promotion Cases?

The Sukabumi Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) has named TikToker Gunawan 'Sadbor' (38) a suspect in a case of alleged promotion of an online gambling website or judol.

So, what is the role of the residents of Babakan Baru Village, Sukabumi Regency in the judol case that ensnared him?

"In order to play a role in providing assistance to the main US suspect (39) by facilitating and providing the Tik Tok @sadbor86 account to broadcast live as well as promoting the online gambling website 'flokitoto'," said Sukabumi Police Chief AKBP Samian during a press conference at the Sukabumi Police Headquarters, Monday, November 4, confiscated by Antara.

According to Samian, in this online gambling promotion case, his party named two suspects, namely AS as the main actor who promoted online gambling sites and Gunawan Sadbor played a role in facilitating the promotion through the Tik Tok account @sadbor86.

The two suspects are residents of Bojongkembar Village, Cikembar District. He added that this case could be revealed after reports from the public that saw an online gambling site promotion activity on the @sadbor86 account while conducting a live broadcast.

Receiving the report, the Sukabumi Police Cyber Patrol Team then conducted an investigation and monitored the activities of the @sadbor86 account. Then on Saturday, (26/10) at around 13.30 WIB, Gunawan with US suspects and a number of other residents made a live broadcast.

However, at the time of the live broadcast, AS, who is suspected of being affiliated with a gambling website from flokitoto, asked Gunawan for time to promote the site. It turned out that during the live broadcast there was already a Tik Tok account @flokitoto1 then gave a saweran or gift (gift) with a large value.

Seeing the size of the saweran, immediately AS shouted joy while repeatedly promoting the online gambling website which contained "Papa floki si gacor anti rungkad hi oe oe oeeeeee, you know floki, the link is on the google flokitoto anti rungkad again gacor guys ready to see floki oe oe oeeee with floki wel aweu or floki wadidaw well aweu or two flokis".

Receiving this evidence, Sukabumi Police Satreskrim personnel then arrested Gunawan and AS at his home in Babakan Baru Village on Thursday (31/10). From the results of the examination, it was revealed that the sawerans with the maximum value obtained through the live broadcast came from the online gambling website.

"The large number of doses turned out to come from online gambling sites as compensation for the promotions carried out by Gunawan and the team on the Tik Tok @sadbor86 account," he added.

Samian regretted Gunawan's actions, even though this Sadbor dance, which had gone viral, not only received abundant income, but brought regional names to be famous both at home and abroad.

But unfortunately, Sadbor's big name was damaged instantly after falling into the online gambling promotion case due to the tendency of the large amount of saweran given by the banned website.

As a result of his actions, the two suspects were charged with Article 45 paragraph 3 Jo Article 27 paragraph 2 of Law Number 1 of 2024 concerning the Second Amendment to UURI Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions and or Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code with the threat of imprisonment for a maximum of 10 years and a fine of Rp. 10 billion.
