JAKARTA - The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Kemkomdigi) is collaborating with Google and Meta through a keywords-based approach, blocking access to judol content that uses certain words as markers.

In addition to blocking content in cyberspace, the Ministry of Communication and Industry has also intensified cooperation with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and related banks to block accounts suspected of being involved in online gambling activities.

Previously, the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) of the Metro Jaya Police revealed that the number of suspects in the online gambling case involving individuals at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) increased by two people.
This addition made a total of 16 suspects, consisting of 12 Komdigi employees and four ordinary residents.
