5 Witnesses Examined By Police Regarding The Discovery Of A Body On The Bakauheni Toll Road

The discovery of a man's body in the drainage of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) KM 03 B, Bakauheni District, South Lampung Regency on Monday, October 28, continues to be investigated by the police.

"The progress of our investigation process so far has examined five witnesses, starting from the cleaning staff, from the toll road, the hospital as well, and the wife of the deceased. We have asked for information," said South Lampung Police Chief AKBP Yusriandi Yusrin, in Kalianda, Saturday, November 2.

He said that his party had not been able to conclude the cause of the man's death, because his party was still waiting for the autopsy results.

"Yesterday we also conducted an autopsy, but we also have to check some items of pathology science, we have to check it at a laboratory in Jakarta, because to clarify the cause of the victim's death is still waiting for the autopsy results," he said, quoted from ANTARA.

He explained that after his party found the victim's cell phone, investigators found the victim's last conversation or communication with his family and several colleagues.

"Then the connection between the cellphones that we found, we have also carried out a digital forensic examination, so we are still investigating," he said.

For information, previously the toll road cleaning officer who was cleaning was then found a male corpse in the drainage area of the Bakauheni toll road on Monday, October 28, at 08.15 WIB.

When found, the corpse was still wearing black jeans and a black t-shirt. In addition, the body uses a brown leather belt and there is a cellphone in the pocket of his right pants.
