COVID-19: How Poland Made Italy And Spain A Lesson

JAKARTA - Large numbers of deaths due to COVID-19 have occurred in two European countries. Spain and Italy are among the top five countries with the highest percentage of deaths. Italy is in first place with 10.8 percent and Spain is fourth with 8.2 percent. This is the concern of other European countries, including Poland, which says they don't want to be like two real brothers.

On Tuesday, March 31, the Polish government began imposing further restrictions to keep its citizens out of the crowd. Among other things, by closing city parks and hotels operating in Poland.

As reported by Reuters, Polish Prime Minister (PM) Mateusz Morawiecki revealed that they want to anticipate being missed as experienced by Italy and Spain which are finally battered against COVID-19. To that end, the Polish government will also appeal to hotels, cosmetic salons, tattoo studios, and massage parlors to temporarily stop operating.

Even so, these shops are still limited, starting from operating time to having an obligation to keep their shops hygienic. Every shop is obliged to provide rubber gloves and disinfectants to its customers. Currently, Poland has recorded 2,215 positive cases of COVID-19, of which 32 people died.
