Clean Water Supply Dies, Hundreds Of Rusunawa Residents Spend Rp. 7 Thousand To Buy Water In Traders

JAKARTA - The supply of clean water that experienced problems due to the flow of death turned out to be detrimental to 800 residential units in Block D Rusunawa Pulogebang, Cakung District, East Jakarta, Monday, October 28.

"For daily needs, I bought IDR 7,000 clean water per jerry can. Residents have been harmed because this water supply has died since yesterday. Other residents have also bought water," Rahman, a resident of the Rusunawa told reporters, Monday, October 28.

Although 800 residential units were not fully occupied by residents, hundreds of residents living in one of the Rusunawa Pulogebang Blocks suffered losses due to the supply of clean water that died since last Sunday afternoon, October 27.

"There are 800 units here but not all of them are filled. So there are 8 flat towers. I hope this clean water supply can be normal again, so that residents do not spend other additional costs to buy clean water," he said.

As of Monday afternoon, local residents admitted that the clean water supply had not returned to normal. They are still buying clean water from jerry cans selling around clean water.

Previously, residents of Block B Rusunawa Pulogebang, Cakung District, East Jakarta, complained that the flow of water in their residential units had not flowed since last Sunday, October 27.

As a result, residents have difficulty getting clean water for their daily needs and their children's activities to go to school are disrupted.

According to Ayu, a resident of Blok D Rusunawa, clean water has not been channeled to residents' residences since last Sunday afternoon. Initially, residents thought that the water had only died for a few minutes.

However, when we waited, the water was not distributed until Monday, October 28, morning. This incident also made a lot of noise for a number of residents in the Rusunawa.

"Water has died from yesterday, October 27. From six in the afternoon until now it has not turned on. Already (the RT report and the manager) he said there was a Pam pipeline that hit backo," Ayu told reporters, Monday, October 28.
