Minister Of PANRB Targets Organizational Structure Of 48 Ministries To Be Completed In November 2024

JAKARTA - Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Rini Widyantini targets the discussion of the entire organizational structure of the Red and White Cabinet ministry to be completed in November 2024.

"The current structuring steps, all presidential draft regulations, are currently on the desk of the President (Prabowo Subianto)," said Rini in a Working Meeting with Commission II of the DPR RI at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, October 28, which was confiscated by Antara.

Arrangement of ministry organizations and filling positions is a priority in the first 100 days of the Red and White Cabinet.

Rini explained that the composition of the state ministries in the 2024 2029 Red and White Cabinet covers 48 ministries with details of 7 coordinating ministries, 19 permanent ministries, 20 ministries that have undergone changes in the nomenclature and/or shift of duties, as well as 2 ministries that have only undergone nomenclature changes.

"The target is that by November all discussions of organizational structure and work procedures for the second stage have been completed," he said.

Rini highlighted the large number of exchanges or transfers of functions in ministries and institutions. Therefore, the government drafted Presidential Regulation Number 139 of 2024 concerning the Arrangement of Duties and Functions of the Ministry of State of the Red and White Cabinet for the period 2024-2029 on October 21, 2024.

Presidential Decree Number 139 of 2024 is valid since it was promulgated in Jakarta on October 21, 2024.

"Some of the most crucial content is in Presidential Decree 139 of 2024, because in the Presidential Decree there is an exchange of the ministry's functions," said Rini.

In addition to structuring ministries and filling positions, Rini also explained two other programs that were prioritized in the first 100 days of the Red and White Cabinet.

These programs include setting a presidential regulation regarding the Government Performance Accountability System (SAKP) which will become the basis of ministries/agencies to achieve national development targets (shared-outcome) and the determination of the Main Performance Indicator or IKU.

"The third priority is the arrangement of non-ASN workers," said Rini.
