Prabowo Wants Maung Garuda Car To Become An Official State Vehicle

JAKARTA - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto revealed that he wanted to use Maung's car as an official state vehicle. He admitted that he was proud to be able to use the production of cars from his own nation, the Indonesian nation.

"The honor of the nation, pride, we should be able to use our own products," Prabowo said in his statement, Monday, October 28.

Not only the president, he also wants the Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Governors and Mayors to use Maung Garuda as a form of honor and pride for the production of their own nation.

"So I have planned most likely that later all ministers, all deputy ministers, director generals, officials may be at the governorship level, the mayor should use vehicles made by the Indonesian nation itself," he said.

As is known, the Maung Garuda vehicle produced by PT Pindad Bandung, West Java has been used by Prabowo several times on various state events after being officially inaugurated as President of the Republic of Indonesia.

Prabowo departed from his residence to the MPR/DPR RI Building in a motorcade with the Maung Garuda MV3 car with a total of eight cars and the same as all white.

Then, when Prabowo escorted the return of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Jokowi to Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport to return to Solo, he also used the same vehicle.

While attending the Red and White Cabinet Retreat, Prabowo also used the Maung Garuda vehicle to greet Magelang residents along the Military Academy road, Magelang, Central Java.

"Yes, I just like it, I just like the color is bright, that's it," said Prabowo, when asked why he likes white vehicles.
