Dharma-Kun Will Create Their Own Ojol Achievement, Without A Commission Cut

JAKARTA - The candidate pair for Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta number 2, Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana promised to create an online motorcycle taxi application if they won the Jakarta gubernatorial election.

Kun Wardana said a new application for online motorcycle taxi services would be made without cutting commissions for the ojol drivers. This was revealed by Kun in the second debate of the Jakarta gubernatorial election.

"We plan to create an online motorcycle taxi application. By providing more welfare for ojol. Namely with no deductions for ojol," said Kun at the Beach City International Stadium, Ancol, North Jakarta, Sunday, October 27.

In addition, Kun revealed that he would provide BPJS Kesehatan and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan assistance for ojol as collateral for work accidents and guaranteed free death.

On the other hand, Kun said that he would change the Jakarta Kini (JAKI) application belonging to the DKI Provincial Government into super apps or super portals that include health services, education, finance, and transportation.

"Here we will use this application for various things. The procurement of goods and services, financial expenditure and budget transparency, and state taxes and so on," he explained.

Furthermore, Kun emphasized that optimization of the digital economy is needed to be able to improve inclusive work, improve equality, and improve social welfare.

"To be able to enable this digital economy to grow, it is necessary to have the courage of digital infrastructure. For that, we will provide free internet for every house in Jakarta," explained Kun.

"Then, we will also fence off technology that can filter negative content by also looking at existing traffic, and thirdly with regulations," he added.

For information, the second debate tonight has the theme of economics and social welfare. The debate participants are the candidate pair (paslon) for Governor-Deputy Governor number 1 Ridwan Kamil-Suswono, candidate pair number 2 Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana, and candidate pair number 3 Pramono Anung-Rano Karno.

During the Jakarta gubernatorial election, the KPU held three debates between candidate pairs. The first debate was held on October 6, with the theme of strengthening cultural resilience; HR development; to programs for women, children, marginalized people, and disabilities. Meanwhile, the last debate was held on November 17.
