JAKARTA - The Saiful Mujani Research Consulting (SMRC) Survey Institute released the results of a survey regarding public sentiment regarding the dissolution of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) community organization (mass organization).

The SMRC Program Manager Saidiman Ahmad explained, nationally, there are 55 percent of the public who know that FPI has been disbanded and admit to agreeing with the prohibition of FPI activities. Meanwhile, 35 percent disagreed.

Conversely, the strongest tendency to support the disbandment of FPI was Tri Rismarini's supporters with 86 percent and Ganjar Pranowo with 80 percent of her supporters.

Meanwhile, when viewed from the support of political parties, the strongest tendency to reject FPI disbandment came from residents who chose PAN (76 percent) and PKS (68 percent).

Conversely, the strongest tendency to support the dissolution of FPI came from citizens who voted for PDIP with 88 percent of its supporters, Nasdem with 72 percent, and PKB with 70 percent.
