Middle-aged Woman Found Dead In Toren Air

JAKARTA - A middle-aged woman's body was found in a water toren in the housing area Jalan Janur Hijau 1, RW 01, Kelapa Gading District, North Jakarta, Thursday, October 24.

"The victim with the initials NM (55) is a woman. The woman works at the house," said Kelapa Gading Police Chief, Kompol Maulana Mukarom.

Currently, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kelapa Gading Police is still conducting investigations and deepening regarding the findings of the woman's body in the water toren.

Investigators have also conducted TKP processing and collected 4 witnesses related to the incident.

"The witness was the one who found the bodies, security, then several other witnesses," he said.

For the autopsy process, the body of the victim NM was taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital.

"We cannot confirm what caused the death of the corpse," he said.

In addition to waiting for the autopsy results, the police are still collecting CCTV camera footage for investigation purposes.
