Police Arrest 6 Youth Perpetrators Of Stabbing In Cempaka Putih

The Central Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit arrested 6 perpetrators of a brawl found stabbing a young man with the initials NAP (21) in the West Cempaka Putih area, Cempaka Putih District, Central Jakarta, Thursday, October 24.

The six suspects for the stabbing had the initials MF (23), MAF (22), MFN (21), ZZ (22), MRR (19) and FCR (18). In the action, the six perpetrators had different roles.

Suspect MF played a role in slashing the victim's left back using a sickle. The suspect MAF played a role in slashing the victim's left thigh.

"The suspect MFN played a role in the brawl and chased the victim. Suspect ZZ played a role in collecting sickles and participating in chasing the victim," said Deputy Head of Criminal Investigation at the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Rezeki Revi Respati when confirmed, Thursday, October 24.

The MRR suspect played a role in recording the brawl and the FCR that kept the sickles used during the brawl and when slashing the victim.

"The evidence that was successfully secured by the police includes six sharp weapons (including sickles and corbets), one white Vario motorcycle, four cellphones, and the clothes worn by the victim at the time of the incident," he explained.

As a result of their actions, the suspects were subject to Article 170 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 351 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code related to acts of violence committed jointly against the victim.

"The maximum penalty faced by the suspects is 5 years and 6 months in prison," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a young man with the initials NAP (21) suffered serious injuries to the back of his head, left back, and left thigh due to a sharp weapon when he was involved in a brawl in the West Cempaka Putih area, Cempaka Putih District, Central Jakarta.

NAP is a member of two groups of youths involved in a brawl in Cempaka Putih. The perpetrator of this brawl was critical of his injuries.
