Electability Overtakes RK-Suswono In LSI Survey, Pramono: I Ask The Team To Work Harder

JAKARTA - Candidate for Governor of Jakarta number 3 Pramono Anung responded to the increase in electabilias which was photographed by the Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) in the latest gigi.

Pramono-Rano's increased electability could even overtake pair number 1, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono, who in previous surveys still ranked first.

Even so, Pramono still asked his campaign team to work hard in winning the candidate pairs promoted by PDIP and Hanura.

"Thank God, with the results of this LSI survey, I still ask my team to work as usual. In fact, work even harder to maintain this good momentum," said Pramono in Rawamangun, East Jakarta, Wednesday, October 23.

Pramono assessed that the increase in the electability of himself and his deputy governor candidate pair, Rano Karno, was based on the results of his blusukan during the campaign period.

"Friends, I saw that I was traveling door to door from the sub-district to spend on problems capturing aspirations. To be honest, I also always don't think about something big," said Pramono.

In the LSI survey, Pramono-Rano's electability was recorded at 41.6 percent, then Ridwan Kamil-Suswono 37.4 percent, and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana 6.6 percent.

LSI Executive Director Djayadi Hanan explained, most likely the 2024 Pilkada will be held in two rounds. Given, there are still 14.4 percent of respondents who have not made a choice.

There is a possibility that Pramono-Rano will continue to rise and Ridwan-Suwono can go down. Or it could also rebound Ridwan-Suswono up, then the possibility of two rounds is very possible," explained Djayadi.

This survey was conducted on October 10-17, 2024. The survey was conducted on 1,200 respondents from Jakarta with face-to-face interviews. The sample was taken using the multistage random sampling method with a margin of error of 2.9 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.
