4,138 Fully Armed Personnel Ready To Secure Prabowo Activities And The Red And White Cabinet In Magelang

A total of 4,138 members of the TNI/Polri and other agencies were deployed to secure President Prabowo Subianto's activities and the Red and White Cabinet at the Military Academy (Akmil) Magelang.

The Commander of Korem 072/Pamungkas Brigadier General Zainul Bahar, in Magelang, Wednesday, conveyed all 4,138 personnel and their reserves.

He conveyed this after the deployment of security forces for the activities of the President of the Republic of Indonesia in Akmil which was carried out in the Rindam field.

"This is the first activity of the new president, hopefully it will run smoothly. Today we are starting to load for equipment from the ministry, while the ministers, the deputy ministers, will start tomorrow, October 24," he said.

He conveyed that the working visit of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto and his entourage to Magelang was part of the inauguration ceremony of the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia.

"The task of securing the President's VVIP is a noble mandate. We all realize that this security task is not an easy task, the challenges faced are increasingly complex, but I believe that with high togetherness and professionals we are able to overcome all these challenges," he said.

He conveyed that the task of securing VVIP should not be considered a routine activity but a new security operation that demands the best service dedication.

According to him, this activity risks the good name and dignity of the Indonesian nation at the national and international level.

He conveyed that the deployment of troops in the context of securing VVIP has a very important meaning, namely as a form to measure the readiness of units, personnel, materials, equipment and other supporting facilities that will be used in the implementation of security duties.

He said that in every task of securing VVIP, TNI, Polri, local governments and all related agencies synergize to support the successful implementation of VVIP planning, preparation, and implementation of security tasks, it must be adjusted to the fixed procedures for securing VVIP so that overlapping and misprocedures do not occur.

"For this reason, I hope that all personnel on duty should follow the following, firstly each personnel must understand their respective duties and responsibilities, study the procedures carefully and don't hesitate to ask if there are things that are not clear," he said.

Second, show high professionalism, dedication and loyalty in every implementation of tasks. Third, stay alert and be prepared, threats can come from anywhere and anytime.
