Man In Sarinah Adang Transjakarta Bus While Holding Sajam, Hysterical Passengers Are Afraid

JAKARTA - A man suspected of driving a car to deal with a Transjakarta bus between Thamrin-Sudirman Street, Jakarta, Tuesday night, October 22, 2024.

The incident was recorded by an amateur camera by a Transjakarta bus passenger. The man was seen wearing a black shirt with a short arm and hat while carrying an object suspected of being a sharp weapon.

After approaching Transjakarta, the man headed into the middle of the road and remained silent. Meanwhile, the passengers inside Transjakarta sound hysterically frightened.

"Yes, sir. No, sir," said a woman in the video.

The motive for the man is not yet known. Meanwhile, the Gambir Metro Police Chief, Kompol Jamalinus Nababan, has not received a report regarding the incident.

"We'll check first, wait a minute," he told VOI, Wednesday, October 23.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Muhammad Firdaus, said that his party had followed up on the information.

"The perpetrator is still being searched," he said.
