Appreciation For Being Deputy Minister Of Home Affairs, Atang Yakin Bima Arya Can Collaborate To Build A Comfortable Bogor City

Bogor Mayor Atang Trisnanto expressed his appreciation for the election of Bima Arya Sugiarto as Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (Wamendagri) of the Prabowo-Gibran Cabinet. He also hopes for collaboration between the central and regional governments to advance the city of Bogor in the future.

Bima Arya is a former mayor of Bogor for two periods and in the 2019-2024 period, Atang, who is also the chairman of the Bogor City DPRD, admitted that he often discusses many things for the progress of the city.

"Congratulations Kang Bima for achieving a career level from the mayor and currently serving as deputy minister. Hopefully the effort to make Indonesia better can be realized in the future," said Atang, Tuesday, October 22.

Over the past five years, said Atang, communication between the Bogor City Government under the leadership of Bima and the DPRD has been well maintained and there have been several performance achievements both under the planning and supervision of the legislature.

Atang said, Bima is known to have integrity and is open to receiving input from various parties. Bima is known to be able to change the bureaucratic order more transparently and also to work harder to serve.

In addition, Bima also has a vision to build more beautiful and comfortable Bogor City infrastructure for all groups. In addition, Bima often creates innovations to facilitate services to the community.

As a result, in 2023 and 2024 Bogor City won the Adipura Cup from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK). Bogor City has a public service platform or Public Service Mall and is able to complete the chaos of the construction of GKI Yasmin which for 15 years has disputed.

"Together with Kang Bima, the Bogor City Government has undergone many changes in terms of bureaucracy, community services, to innovation and maintaining the harmony of the people. This achievement must be continued," explained Atang.

If elected as regional head in the contestation of the Bogor Pilwalkot in November 2024 with Anrida Allivia, Atang ensures that he is ready to collaborate with the central government to create a comfortable Bogor City in the next five years.

"Of course, with experience as regional head and I as chairman of the DPRD, in the future we can fill each other and collaborate to build a more comfortable city of Bogor," added Atang.

Bima Arya was officially inaugurated by President Prabowo at the State Palace, Jakarta, Monday, October 21. He will work with Tito Karnavian as Minister of Home Affairs, and Ribka Haluk as Deputy Minister of Home Affairs II.

He conveyed his readiness to immediately work to deal with various problems in politics and general government. Bima also explained that he would focus on political issues, general government, and population issues that require serious attention.
