Only The National Police Chief Knows Who The Figure Of The Deputy Chief Of Police Replaces Agus Andrianto

JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyto Sigit Prabowo is said to be choosing the best Bhayangkara Corps member as a candidate to replace Komjen (Ret.) Agus Andrianto as Deputy Chief of the Indonesian National Police (Wakapolri).

Agus Andrianto has resigned as Deputy Chief of Police and is now serving as Minister of Immigration and Corrections.

"It will definitely be chosen by the best National Police Chief. We will definitely look for the other three best stars to occupy the position of Deputy Chief of Police," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Shandi Nugroho to reporters, Tuesday, October 22.

Regarding the candidates who will fill the number two position in the National Police, Shandi said he did not know about it. Because, this matter is entirely the authority of the National Police Chief.

It was only emphasized again that whoever later served as Deputy Chief of Police was one of the best personnel of the Bhayangkara Corps.

"Of course, the Chief of Police knows. Later we will communicate with him. Hopefully it will be there and of course the best has been prepared," said Shandi.

Previously, Agus Andrianto resigned as a member of the Bhayangkara Corps on October 19 or two days before being sworn in by President Prabowo Subianto, one of the ministers in the Red and White Cabinet.

Agus Andrianto's dismissal was based on Presidential Decree Number 99/Polri/2024. It contained that Agus Andrianto was respectfully dismissed as a high-ranking police officer.
