JAKARTA - After undergoing a farewell ceremony with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto at the Merdeka Palace, the 7th President Jokowi headed to Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base to return to Solo.

Jokowi and his entourage left the Merdeka Palace along Thamrin-Sudirman, which is still crowded with the community.

At around 14.30 WIB, right across from BNI Tower, thousands of people were still crowding near 10 sound horegs that had lined up.

"We give way first, and we give respect to Mr. Jokowi," said a man to the crowd from the truck, flanked by a sound horeg.

"Our last respect is for Pak Jokowi. Thank you," he continued.

The song from a child entitled "Thank you Pak Jokowi" was also played through the 10 sound horeg who lined up.

Not long ago, the convoy passed through the crowd. Jokowi was seen greeting through the open car roof.

Thousands of people screamed when they saw Jokowi. The song "Thank you Pak Jokowi" was played even harder.

"Stay conducive. Later we will dance together, after the accompaniment is complete," said the man from the truck again, asking the public to keep his ranks.
