JAKARTA - The President-elect on Thursday, October 17 has his 73rd birthday. Prabowo's birthday was exactly three days earlier inaugurated as the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Sunday, October 20.

Through social media X (formerly Twitter) @prabowo, Prabowo Subianto uploaded photos on his birthday. One of them, a photo showing the elected vice president, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, seemed to congratulate Prabowo.

"Thank you for the spirit of unity for the homeland and nation!" Prabowo wrote on Thursday afternoon.

A number of ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet who are also expected to return as ministers of the Prabowo-Gibran cabinet also congratulate Prabowo. Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas) hopes that Prabowo will always be given health.
