NTT Police: The Dismissal Of Ipda Rudy Soik Is Not Related To The Disclosure Of The Fuel Mafia

The East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Regional Police ensured that the dishonorable discharge (PTDH) or dismissal of Ipda Rudy Soik had nothing to do with the issue of the oil fuel mafia (BBM) in Kupang City.

"Our media colleagues want to convey that PTDH to Ipda Rudy Soik is related to the seven police reports that have entered the Propam Division of the NTT Police in the last two months processed by the Propam Division of the NTT Police," said Head of Public Relations of the NTT Police Kombes Ariasandy in Kupang as reported by ANTARA, Monday, October 14.

There were seven reports against Ipda Rudy Soik which began with the Hand Catch Operation (OTT) conducted by the NTT Regional Police Paminal against Ipda Rudy Soik along with three other members of the National Police, namely AKP Yohanes Suhardi (YS), Ipda Lusiana Lado (LL) and Brigpol Jean E. Reke (JER) who were the wives of people on June 25, 2024 at entertainment venues during official hours with people.

From the OTT, members of the Paminal Polda NTT made a Police Report with the number LP-A/49/VI/HUK.12.10./2024/Yanduan dated June 27, 2024. Based on the report, a series of investigations and investigations were carried out.

"For this violation, Ipda Rudy Soik was sanctioned with Placement in a special place for 14 (fourteen) days and the mutation was demotional during the three years outside the NTT Regional Police. This decision was based on the Decision of the Police Professional Code of Ethics Session Number: PUT/34/VIII/2024 dated August 28, 2024. The Sanctions for Democracy during the 3 (three) years were decided, because previously Ipda Rudy Soik had committed violations and underwent four disciplinary hearings and code of ethics in 2015 and 2017," he explained.

Based on this decision, Ipda Rudy Soik filed an appeal so that he did not carry out the sanctions.

From the appeal hearing process, it was decided by the Appeal Commission, with the results of the decision of the Appeal Session of the Police Code of Ethics Commission Number: PUT/06/X/2024/Kom Appeal, dated October 9, 2024 by imposing sanctions from the decision of the Police Code of Ethics Commission to add a sanction decision in the form of a demotional mutation for 5 (five) years against the Decision of the KKEP Session Number: PUT/34/VIII/2024 dated August 28, 2024.

The aggravating thing is that it is complicated in providing information during the trial. "When the act occurs, it is done consciously and realizes that it is a norm of prohibition that is in the rules of the Police Code of Ethics," he said.

In addition, during the trial examination, Ipda Rudy Soik was uncooperative and Ipda Rudy Soik even left the courtroom during the reading of the charges and was not willing to listen to the demands and decisions.

Ipda Rudy Soik is considered to have committed acts of violating the Police Professional Code of Ethics in the form of committing acts that are not in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations and/or standard operating procedures, unprofessionalism in investigating allegations of misuse of fuel oil by installing police lines (Police Line) on empty drums and jerry cans at locations owned by Ahmad Anshar and Algajali Munandar at his destination in Alak and Fatukoa Villages.

"The place where the police line (Police Line) was installed does not contain evidence and is not a criminal act and in this action it is not supported by the administration of the investigation," said the Head of Public Relations.

Meanwhile, Ipda Rudy admitted that he was surprised by the decision. He admitted that he was fired for installing a police line at an illegal fuel shelter in Kupang City.

In fact, what he did was part of a series of investigations. That was also on the orders of his leader, namely the Kupang City Police Chief Commissioner Aldian Manurung.

"For me, the decision of PTDH is something disgusting," he said.
