JAKARTA - Jakarta Governor Candidate number 3 Pramono Anung responded to his low electability in the results of the Indonesia Political Opinion (IPO) survey. In the IPO survey, Pramono and Rano Karno's electability has decreased compared to several previous surveys.
Pramono admitted that he did not know the IPO survey institute. Thus, the former Cabinet Secretary (Seskab) did not respond to the survey results.
"Who is doing this (survey)? I don't know this institution yet," said Pramono when met in West Pademangan, North Jakarta, Monday, October 14.
In the results of the IPO survey which was held on September 21-27, 2024, Pramono-Rano's electability was 27.1 percent. This figure is lower than the Ridwan Kamil-Suswono pair which was recorded at 52.6 percent. Meanwhile, Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana 2.7 percent.
IPO executive director Dedi Kurnia Syah explained, with the electability condition of RIDO which is significantly superior to other candidates, it is possible for RIDO to come out as the winner in the upcoming 2024 DKI Jakarta Pilkada.
"If you read the existing changes, also the duration of the campaign is short, allowing RIDO to come out as the winner in the Jakarta Pilkada," said Dedi.
Meanwhile, in several previous surveys, Pramono-Rano's electability was higher than the results of the poll of the IPO survey agency.
