Baby's Body Found Next To South Jakarta's Delta Spa, Police Intervene

JAKARTA - A baby girl's body was found beside Delta Spa, Jalan Gatot Subroto, Menteng Dalam, Tebet, South Jakarta (Jaksel).

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi said the incident occurred on Saturday, October 12, at 11.30 WIB.

"It is true that a gray package containing a baby fetus was found on Jalan Gatot Subroto, Menteng Dalam, Tebet, South Jakarta," said Ade Ary in his statement, Sunday, October 13.

Ade Ary explained that the incident began when the witness with the initials RJ saw a gray package at the crime scene (TKP).

Furthermore, because of curiosity, the witness opened the package. It turned out that when it opened it contained the baby's fetus.

On that basis, witness RJ reported to another witness, MRN. Then report to the police.

The police, who received the information, went directly to the scene. The goal is to evacuate the baby's body. He said that the case has now been handled by the Tebet Police.

"The case is handled by the Teber Police," he concluded.
