Keeping Methamphetamine In A Bag That Reads 'Certainly Not A Bag Containing Drugs', Couples Arrested

JAKARTA - A married couple (couple) who kept methamphetamine in a bag that read 'Obviously Not A Bag Containing Drugs' was arrested.

The couple failed to trick the police after officers insisted on opening the bag during a search in Portland, Oregon, United States (US).

Citing Mirror.co.uk, Friday, October 11, the search began with police suspicion that a vehicle passing on the highway was detected by a stolen car.

When the car was asked to pull over, it turned out to contain a couple. The police continued with a search and then found some cash, firearms containing bullets, scales, and bags bearing the words 'Obviously Not a Bag Containing Drugs'.

Not immediately believing the writing on the bag, the police opened it and found more than 10 grams of fentanyl and methamphetamine.

The couple named Mia Rochelle Baggenstos, 37, and calm Lamont Reynolds, 35, were then taken to the police station on Tuesday this week.

Both were accused of drug possession and ownership of stolen vehicles.

This incident occurred shortly after the arrest of a woman named Lauren Riley, 41, for possession of drugs stored in a bag that reads 'Drug bag'.

The bag was found in Lauren's car during a police search.

In the bag, The Smoking Gun reported that officers found cocaine, powder cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, antidepressant Xanax pills, and other types of narcotics.
