Not Only Sandra Dewi, The Prosecutor Presented Two Sisters Of Harvey Moeis At The Tin Corruption Trial

JAKARTA - The Public Prosecutor (JPU) not only presented Sandra Dewi as a witness for the defendant Harvey Moeis at the trial of the alleged corruption case in tin management, today. However, there are also two younger siblings, Harvey Moeis.

The two are Kartika Dewi and Mira Moeis. Their relationship with the defendant was revealed after Chief Judge Eko Aryanto examined the identities of the witnesses.

"Of course he knows my brother-in-law," Kartika replied.

After completing examining Kartika's identity, Judge Eko turned to another witness, Mira Moeis. A similar question was asked to the witness.

"What brother?" asked Judge Eko.

"My brother's Harvey Moeis," replied Mira.

In this trial, the prosecutor presented 12 witnesses, one of whom was Sandra Dewi.

The presence of Sandra Dewi in the trial was allegedly to explore the flow of Harvey Moeis' money. Because, in the indictment, it was stated that the defendant had transferred some money to his wife through his personal assistant on behalf of Ratih Purnamasari.

For information, in the Timah corruption case, Harvey Moeis was charged with being involved in the alleged corruption of tin governance which caused a loss of Rp. 300 trillion.

In addition, Sandra Dewi's husband was also charged with money laundering (TPPU). Because, in the series of alleged corruption, Harvey Moeis received Rp420 billion.

In this case, Harvey Moeis was charged with Article 2 paragraph (1) and Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 of the Anti-Corruption Law in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code and Article 3 of 2010 concerning Money Laundering.
