Survey: Tri Adhianto-Harris Bobihoe Unggul Pair In The 2024 Bekasi Pilwalkot

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Election Study Institute (LKPI) released the results of the latest survey of the 2024 Bekasi City Regional Head Election (Pilkada). As a result, the pair Tri Adhianto-Harris Bobihoe outperformed two pairs of candidates for mayor and other deputy mayors.

The executive director of LKPI, Togu Lubis explained, in the simulation of "top of mind," which aims to measure the loyalty and spontaneity of respondents in mentioning the pair of candidates they chose, the survey results showed that the pair Tri Adhianto and Harris Bobihoe were the most mentioned with 47.1 percent of the votes.

Followed by second place, the pair Heri Koswara and Sholihin with 29.6 percent. Meanwhile, the pair of the Saeful Mikdar and Nurul Sumarheni Law only got 4.1 percent. Meanwhile, 19.2 percent of respondents did not provide answers.

"In the simulation of closed questions using quasisionary paper, accompanied by the electability level of the three pairs of candidates, it was also measured. The results showed that the pair Tri Adhianto and Harris Bobihoe had an electability rate of 53.7 percent, Heri Koswara and Sholihin reached 32.8 percent, and the pair of the Saeful Mikdar and Nurul Sumarheni Law received 4.9 percent," said Togu in his statement, Wednesday, October 9.

"Meanwhile, as many as 8.9 percent of respondents said they would not vote," he added.

This survey also measures the level of public trust in the three pairs of candidates for Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Bekasi, based on their track records and experiences. In this regard, the pair Tri Adhianto and Harris Bobihoe got a high public trust score, which was 89.7 percent.

"Followed by the pair Heri Koswara and Sholihin with a score of 57.2 percent, as well as the pair of the Saeful Mikdar and Nurul Sumarheni Law which got a score of 36.7 percent," said Togu.

Meanwhile, regarding popularity and acceptability, the survey results show that the pair Tri Adhianto and Harris Bobihoe have a popularity rate of 81.2 percent and an acceptability rate of 80.4 percent.

Then, the pair Heri Koswara and Sholihin had an electability rate of 58.4 percent and an acceptability of 52.6 percent.

"Meanwhile, the pair of the Saeful Mikdar and Nurul Sumarheni Law recorded an electability rate of 28.4 percent and an acceptability of 32.3 percent," said Togu.

The survey results also found an Approval Rating of Tri Adhianto's performance, who currently serves as Deputy Mayor and Acting Mayor of Bekasi.

"From the data obtained, the level of public satisfaction with Tri Adhianto's performance reached 79.2 percent, while 10.2 percent stated dissatisfaction, and another 19.6 percent did not provide an assessment," said Togu.

The LKPI survey was conducted on September 25 - October 4, 2024, through face-to-face interviews involving 1,200 residents who have met the requirements as voters in the upcoming Pilkada.

Respondents are spread across 56 urban villages throughout Bekasi City, which provides a fairly broad representation of public opinion.

The sampling method used is multistage random sampling, which allows randomly but structured selection of respondents.

This survey has an error margin of around 2.83 percent with a confidence level of 95 percent.
