Jokowi Immediately Returned To Solo After The Inauguration Of Prabowo-Gibran October 20

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will immediately return to Solo, Central Java, after the inauguration of the presidents Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka on October 20.

"On October 20, 2024 afternoon, I will return to Solo," said the President after attending the opening of the BNI Investor Daily Summit 2024 at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 8.

The President admitted that there were no activities after the inauguration ceremony. Jokowi will rest after arriving at Solo.

"Pulang ke Solo dulu, tidur," kata Presiden.

Jokowi in his statement, believes that the government transition will run smoothly and immediately move without pause because Prabowo Subianto has always attended meetings and cabinet meetings for consolidation since the KPU appointed Prabowo as the elected candidate in the 2024 election.

"What I am happy about is that since he (Prabowo) was elected, as the elected president, preparations for the inauguration were really in terms of work plans, programs, etc., the transition went well," said Jokowi.

Previously, Prabowo as the Minister of Defense was only present for defense affairs at the cabinet meeting, said Jokowi, after becoming an elected presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election, Prabowo was present at all limited meetings and plenary meetings.
