Pramono After The First Debate Of The Gubernatorial Election: Initially Underdog, But Finally Received By Residents

JAKARTA - Candidate for Governor of Jakarta number 3, Pramono Anung, claims that he and Deputy Governor Rano Karno's candidate get more public sympathy after the inaugural debate of the Jakarta gubernatorial election which was held last night.

Pramono admitted that he received a lot of support from the volunteers who attended, as well as a number of residents who met him. He believes that the program's vision and mission expressed in the debate is accepted by the public.

"Maybe because of his sympathy and initially suspected that I was underdog, right. But in yesterday's debate, many messages were finally received clearly by the community," said Pramono in North Kedoya, West Jakarta, Monday, October 7.

The day after the debate, Pramono returned to a number of points and "shopping" problems with residents. In fact, the former Cabinet Secretary admitted that yesterday's debate drained his energy.

"I don't know anymore the time for holidays. Even though yesterday's debate also took my mind, today I have recovered again and in my opinion. Public response, I also checked earlier when conveying with the public, many people appreciated what was in last night's debate," explained Pramono.

In today's blusukan activity, Pramono accommodates complaints from people who do not enter as recipients of social assistance (bansos). In fact, they are classified as underprivileged families.

From this condition, Pramono assessed the need for improvement in data collection and verification of social assistance recipients so that the allocated regional budget could be more targeted.

"So the main problem is that almost all regions are very visible in data collection, both for KJP (Smart Jakarta Card) and for the elderly. It seems that there is a problem now," explained Pramono.

"So there needs to be serious handling of existing data," he added.
