Jokowi Appreciates The Assessment Of Satisfied People For 10 Years Of Government

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) paid tribute and appreciation for the public's assessment of his performance during his 10 years of leadership. This was conveyed in response to the results of the Political Indicators survey which showed that 75% of Indonesians were satisfied with Jokowi's performance before his term ended.

"The president really respects and appreciates various notes, assessments, and public evaluations of his 10-year government, including those released by survey institutions recently," said Presidential Special Staff Coordinator Ari Dwipayana Ari in his statement, Sunday, October 6.

He said Jokowi would like to thank the support provided by the community for 10 years of his government. Jokowi also apologized if there were still shortcomings and limitations in serving the community.

Ari explained that Jokowi continued to work by visiting people in various corners of the country, border areas, and also areas where the president had never visited post-independence presidents before the end of his reign.

He added that Jokowi also continues to make work visits to ensure that national priority programs run well and thoroughly so that they can have a significant impact on people throughout Indonesia.

"When meeting directly with the community, the president always expressed his gratitude and also apologies. Why directly at the community at the grassroots? Because only with the support of all elements of society, especially those at the grassroots, the president and the government are able to face various tough challenges during their 10 years of government," he explained.

Ari added that community satisfaction, which is reflected in the results of the survey agency, is the energy for Jokowi to ensure that the transition process of government runs well and smoothly. In addition, the shortcomings in the performance of several areas of government will be an evaluation note to be improved in the next government.

"The spirit of the next government led by the elected president, Mr. Prabowo Subianto, is sustainability. Thus, the president believes that shortcomings and limitations will be the concern and priority of the upcoming government," he concluded.

Previously, Executive Director of Political Indicators Burhanuddin Muhtadi said in the survey respondents were asked, "So far are you very satisfied, quite satisfied, not satisfied or not satisfied with President Jokowi's performance?"

According to Burhanuddin, 75% of Indonesians are satisfied with Jokowi's performance. "The majority are satisfied with President Jokowi's performance of 75%," said Burhanuddin in the release of the findings of the National Survey: Public Evaluation of the 10 Years of President Joko Widodo's Government which was monitored online from Jakarta, Friday.

If detailed, as many as 15.04% of the community were very satisfied and 59.92% of the community were quite satisfied with Jokowi's performance.
