There Is No Guarantee That Israel Will Not Attack Iran's Nuclear Facilities

JAKARTA - A top US State Department official said Israel had not provided guarantees to US President JoeBiden's administration that Israel would not attack Iran's nuclear facilities, according to CNN.

Pejabat itu pada Jumat (4/10) mengatakan "sangat sulit untuk memastikan" apakah Tel Aviv akan melakukan balasan pada peringatan satu tahun serangan dari kelompokan Hamas Palestina terhadap Israel pada 7 Oktober tahun lalu.

"We look forward to seeing wisdom and strength, but as you know, there are no guarantees," said the official, who was not willing to be named, as reported.

The official answered a question by CNN about whether Israel had given US guarantees regarding its military plans against Iran.

Earlier this week, Iran launched a missile into Israel in retaliation for the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.

Israel continued its air and land attacks on Lebanon while continuing to attack Gaza's Jalur.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised that Iran would suffer the consequences of the attack.
