LSI Survey Ahead Of Pilkada: 51.9 Percent Of Cilegon Residents Are Not Satisfied With The Performance Of The Mayor Of Helldy Agustian

JAKARTA - The survey results of the Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) stated that 51.9 percent of the residents of Cilegon City did not like the performance of the Mayor of Cilegon who is currently back in the Cilegon Pilkada, Helldy Agustian. Meanwhile, those who expressed satisfaction with Helldy Agustian's performance were only 19.4 percent.

Political Observer and Public Policy from the Islamic University of Syekh Yusuf or UNIS Tangerang, Adib Miftahul said that the results of this survey meant a dangerous alarm for incumbent candidates.

"It's yellow and tends to be red," said Adib Miftahul, Friday (4/10/2024).

Adib said that the dissatisfaction could later be accumulated and represented in the ballot booth. According to Adib, ideally the incumbent survey is at least 50 percent satisfaction.

"This is even reversed, which is satisfied with the performance of the incanna only 19.4 percent. So this is that the yellow alarm tends to be red. Because its performance does not make the Cilegon people attracted," said Aib.

The Executive Director of the National Political Studies added that the City of Cilegon is dominated by rational voters and many migrants because of the large number of industries.

"The rational voter will definitely see about his performance, what has he done? Now this has been taken into the survey. The rational voter in Cilegon will determine," Adib continued.

Adib assessed that other candidate pairs that are opponents of petana have great potential to win if they have a rational vision, mission, and idea. Because the population of the people of Cilegon City reaches more than 300 thousand people from eight sub-districts, and the APBD 2.4 trillion which should have been more than optimal to manage urban development.

"In fact, the streets are still dark. The public finally thinks that trivial things are not right, let alone big ones, right," said Adib again.

This survey was taken using a multistage method with a sample of 1,200 people. With a margin of error of buh2.9 percent and a confidence level of 95 percent.
