This is as stated by the Secretary General of the Gerindra Party, Ahmad Muzani. He explained that the inauguration of the president and vice president will be held in Senayan.

Regarding the reason why the inauguration was not held at IKN, Muzani did not provide a clear answer.

"Anyway, the inauguration is in Senayan," he said again.

It should be noted that in Indonesia, the task of inaugurating the President and Vice President-elect is the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR). The MPR has the authority to inaugurate the elected head of state from the election results.

Currently the MPR is led by Ahmad Muzani who was just inaugurated on Thursday (3/10/2034). Muzani became chairman of the MPR RI for the period 2024-2029.
