Saleh Daulay: PAN Prays For Many Cadres To Become Ministers Of The Prabowo-Gibran Cabinet

JAKARTA - Chairman of the DPP of the National Mandate Party (PAN), Saleh Daulay, admitted that he did not know the number of ministers in the cabinet of the elected President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the period 2024-2029, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

However, Saleh hopes that many of his party cadres will become ministers in the Prabowo-Gibran cabinet.

"Well, I don't know, Mr. Prabowo. We also pray so that many cadres become ministers," said Saleh at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, October 2.

When asked about the name of the Deputy Head of PAN, Yandri Susanto will become one of Prabowo's ministers after he is no longer the leader of the MPR, Saleh also prays.

"Yes, we pray, later who knows to become a minister," he said.

Likewise, regarding the news that PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan will become Coordinating Minister (Menko), Saleh emphasized that only Prabowo knew.

"That's also Pak Prabowo (who knows, ed)," he said.

Previously, the daily chairman of the Gerindra Party DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, revealed that several political parties had deposited names to fill the Prabowo-Gibran cabinet.

"Yes, someone has proposed it," said Dasco at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Saturday, September 14.

Dasco continued, the names that had been deposited would later be followed up by President-elect Prabowo Subianto.

"It's being profiled, simulated, yes, later it will be submitted back to the chairman concerned," said Dasco.

When asked how many there are and which political parties, Dasco was reluctant to reveal it. The deputy chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives argued that this was entirely the authority and prerogative of Prabowo Subianto as the elected President of the 2024 presidential election.

"Ah, I don't know about this (how many political parties), because it went straight to Pak Prabowo," he said.
