The Man Who Killed His Lover In Karawang Out Of Blind Jealousy Arrested By Police

The Karawang District Police arrested the perpetrator who killed his own girlfriend, because he was jealous after being refused to date in the Rengasdengklok District, Karawang Regency, West Java.

"The perpetrator who was arrested had the initials FH (43), a resident of Sukasari Village, Karangtengah District, Cianjur Regency," said Karawang Police Chief AKBP Edwar Zulkarnaen as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, October 2.

The murder by FH against the victim with the initials RV occurred on Monday midnight (30/9), at a coffee shop in Krajan A Hamlet, Kertasari Village, Rengasdengklok District, Karawang.

The perpetrator is a resident of Cianjur, while the victim who is his lover is a resident of Tanjungbungin Village, Pakisjaya District, Karawang.

According to the perpetrator's statement, the relationship between him and the victim was a couple. But the perpetrators killed RV spontaneously out of jealousy.

"The perpetrator committed his actions, finished the victim spontaneously because the fire was burning," said the Police Chief.

The incident began when the perpetrator asked RV victim to date, but the victim refused because at that time the perpetrator was drunk.

"Initially the incident occurred, on Sunday, September 29, 2024, the perpetrator asked the victim to date but was refused because the perpetrator was drunk," he said.

Then the next day, at a coffee shop, the perpetrator saw his girlfriend with the initials RV with another man. At that moment, because of the fire of jealousy, the perpetrator immediately took a knife from the kitchen and stabbed the bottom of the victim's armpit.

Receiving the attack, the victim immediately fell down, and was finally taken to the nearest hospital. However, when he arrived at the hospital, the victim was already lifeless.

Residents who saw the incident immediately reported to the Rengasdengklok Police, and immediately followed up by pursuing the perpetrators.

"Less than 24 hours after the incident, the perpetrator was arrested in Kertasari Hamlet, Rengasdengklok," he said.
