580 DPR Members And 152 DPD Members For The 2024-2029 Period Officially Inaugurated

MPR members for the period 2024-2029 carry out the inauguration / ANTARA /HO-MPR oath / inauguration oath

A total of 580 members of the House of Representatives (DPR) and 152 members of the Regional Representative Council (DPD) for the period 2024-2029 have been officially inaugurated.

A total of 732 members of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) have been sworn in by the promise to be held at the Plenary Meeting of the Pledge of the Promise of Position, Tuesday, October 1.

The inauguration of the MPR members consisting of members of the DPR and DPD began with the reading of the Presidential Decree by the Acting Secretary General (Sekjen) of the MPR Siti Fauziah.

Then, all MPR members took the oath of office under the guidance of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (MA) Muhammad Syarifuddin.

"That I will fulfill my obligations as a member of the People's Consultative Assembly as well as possible and fairly as possible, in accordance with the laws and regulations, with the guidelines of Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia," said Syarifuddin, which was attended by all members of the MPR for the period 2024-2029.

"That in carrying out my obligations, I will work seriously, for the sake of the establishment of a democratic life and prioritizing the interests of the nation and state rather than personal, person, and group interests. That I will fight for the aspirations of the people and the regions that I represent to realize national goals for the benefit of the nation and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia," said the oath of the MPR members.
