A black Paspampres bus hit the Transjakarta Bus Stop in the Petamburan area, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta, last Monday, September 30.

Asintel Danpaspampres Colonel Kav Herman Taryaman said this single accident occurred because the bus had failed brakes.

"At that time the road decreased slightly, and to avoid a collision with the vehicle in front of it, the driver took the initiative to put the vehicle into the Busway lane because it was out of control so the bus hit the Busway Bus Stop pillar," he said in an official statement, Tuesday, October 1.

In the single accident incident there were no fatalities, only the bus vehicle suffered heavy damage to the front.

"At around 19.00 WIB, the bus can be evacuated to be taken to the Mako Paspampres," he said.

Colonel Kav Herman Taryaman apologized to the road users for the single accident that caused inconvenience in traffic due to traffic jams due to accidents.

"Hopefully this Laka Lalin incident will not happen to others, and we must always be careful when driving," he said.
