JAKARTA - The Israeli military said it attacked Hezbollah's target in Lebanese Beqaa Valley.

Over the past hour, the IDF has attacked additional terror targets belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in the Beqaa region, Israel said in a statement quoted by CNN, Saturday, September 28.

The announcement comes as dozens of explosions rocked the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

The Beqaa Valley, which is located east of the country along the border with Syria, has repeatedly been the target of Israeli airstrikes over the past week.

On Thursday, Doctors Without Borders (MSF) warned the region's humanitarian needs exceeded the capacity of aid agencies to provide responses. Residents were forced to leave their homes and shelters struggling to accommodate them.

In addition, the Israeli military also issued evacuation orders for residents of the Al-Barajneh and Al-Hadath neighborhoods to leave certain locations shown on maps in Beirut's southern Dahiyeh.

"You are near the Hezbollah facility and for the safety of you and your loved ones, you must immediately leave the building and stay away from it at a distance of no less than 500 meters," an Arabic-speaking Israeli military spokesman Avichay said Adraee.

The buildings include several buildings near schools in the Al-Barajneh neighborhood, a densely populated Palestinian refugee camp and are also home to Syrian refugees and migrant workers. Adraee also ordered residents to evacuate buildings in front and near other schools in Al-Hadath.

Shortly after the evacuation order was issued, the CNN team in Beirut saw at least four airstrikes hit several locations on the southern outskirts.

The evacuation order came after an earlier order in which Adraee also ordered residents in several buildings in the Al-Laylaki neighborhood to evacuate, as well as in Al-Hadath.
