President Director Of PT Sucofindo Questioned About Meetings Related To Gas Sale And Purchase Between PGN-PT IAE

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating the issue of a board of directors meeting which resulted in a gas sale and purchase agreement between PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) and PT Inti Alasindo Energi (IAE). Jobi Triananda Hasjim as former President Director of PT PGN who now serves as President Director of PT Sucofindo was questioned by investigators as a witness.

"Witnesses were present and investigated regarding the board of directors meeting related to the PGN gas sale and purchase agreement with PT IAE," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to reporters in a written statement, Friday, September 27.

"The same thing was also explored from DSW as Director of Infrastructure and Technology in 2016 who later served as Commercial Director of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara in 2019," said Tessa. This figure is based on information obtained by Dilo Seno Widagdo.

"The examination was carried out at the KPK's Red and White Building," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK named two people as suspects in a corruption case within PT PGN. The information circulating in them is Danny Praditya, who is the commercial director of PT PGN for the 2016'2019 period who is also the former president director of PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminum (Inalum).

While the other suspect is Iswan Ibrahim who is the main director of PT Isar Gas. The investigation into this case began with an audit by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) which found state losses.

The KPK has conducted searches related to this case on June 19-20. This forced effort was carried out in a number of locations, such as in AM's private house as a former PT PGN employee, HJ's private house as a former PT PGN employee, and DSW's house as a former director of PT PGN.

At that time, KPK investigators found evidence related to this case, namely documents related to the sale and purchase of gas to electronic evidence.
