Police Say 'Year Party' Is A Code For Perpetrators Of The Bekasi River Brawl

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya investigators revealed the code term used among teenage brawlers in Bekasi. The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta explained that the code made had its own meaning among the perpetrators of the brawl.

"We got it from fellow investigators that they used the code 'a birthday party' for a brawl," said Kombes Ade Ary, Thursday, September 26.

The disclosure of the code was based on the results of the examination of witnesses related to the death of 7 teenagers in Kali Bekasi.

"This has been taken information that the codes are for brawls. These are facts from several witnesses who were taken into account," he said.

Furthermore, Kombes Ade Ary said that many teenagers were secured by the Bekasi City Metro Police that they confessed to their families if they wanted to go to a birthday party, even though they were going to do a brawl.

"So someone said goodbye to his family, he said there was a party, there was a birthday, there was a thanksgiving. This is a code agreed by them for a brawl. This is very concerning," he said.
