JAKARTA - Candidate for deputy governor of Jakarta number two, Kun Wardana Abyoto promised free internet at least 100 megabits per second (Mbps) to make it easier for people to get access to information.

"We want all houses to be connected to the internet at least 100 Mbps," said Kun after a dialogue with the Purna Forum of DKI Provincial Government Officials in South Jakarta, as reported by Antara, Thursday, September 26.

Kun said that his party had conducted studies ranging from connectivity to infrastructure related to the program prepared if he was selected.

With the availability of free internet, people can afford to shop for recreation from home so as to reduce congestion, air pollution and so on.

Therefore, he ensures that there is a free internet so as not to cause discrimination and social disparities among the community.

"We don't want there to be discrimination from receiving information, so everyone has the same right to information," he said.

In its implementation, it will cooperate with operators, one of which is providing incentives for taxes.

Then, his party will also focus on four things, namely devices, networks, digital platforms (platforms), and applications. His party plans to improve the JAKI government application.

"This application we will perfect JAKI into super apps that are able to touch various service sectors such as health, education, finance, logistics and others," he said.

Candidate for governor number 2 in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada Dharma Pongrekun said that my Jakarta Aman Card is one of the flagship programs.
