The West Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU Jakbar) received 3,468 boxes and 13,808 ballot booths at the Rawa Lele logistics storage warehouse, Kalideres, West Jakarta.

"This box and booth came in a series of trucks that were escorted through security duties from the factory and now, they have arrived at the city warehouse," said West Jakarta KPU chairman Endang Istianti, ANTARA, Wednesday, September 25.

He explained that thousands of boxes and ballot booths would be distributed to 3,452 polling stations (TPS) in the area.

However, in the process, thousands of boxes and ballot booths will be re-sorted to check their condition, whether they are damaged or damaged.

"We make sure no one is disabled. If someone is disabled, we will confirm directly to the public to send a replacement," said Endang.

Furthermore, other logistics will be brought in in the next batch.

"After that, other logistics will come in the form of ink, then later there will be an ATK (office writing device), there will be a plano, as well as a copy form," said Endang.

The KPU has carried out fumigation or extermination of fungi and termites in the Rawa Lele Warehouse so that the quality of logistics is maintained until the Jakarta Regional Head Election (Pilkada) series is complete.

"There was also a fumigation action, so before this item arrived, we had carried out fumigation in this warehouse, making sure there were no mushrooms and termites," said Endang.

The West Java KPU has been using the warehouse since the 2024 General Election because it is flood-free and safe.

Meanwhile, data from the DKI Jakarta KPU stated that this Wednesday, the Jakarta Pilkada logistics storage warehouse in six cities/regencies of Jakarta, had also received a total of 14,920 ballot boxes and 59,328 ballot booths.
