Oli Warehouse In Tangerang Explodes, Flames Make Employees Panic

TANGERANG - The oil warehouse in the Millennium Industrial Estate Esate No. 1 Block E-1, Peusar, Panongan, Tangerang Regency caught fire. There was an explosion that made employees at that location panic, Wednesday afternoon, September 25.

Head of BPBD Tangerang Regency, Ujat Sudrajat said that if the explosion occurred because the materials in the warehouse contained diesel and oil.

"The explosion is estimated from burning materials, diesel and oil," he said.

Initially the employee smelled gas. Not long after, the fire came out of the ceiling near thewap.

"Because the ingredients are flammable, it makes the fire easily spread and spread to PT Samator next to the oil warehouse," he said.

Eight units of the Tangerang Regency Fire Department and dozens of personnel were deployed. The fire was extinguished after taking 30 minutes.

"The handling took 30 minutes. (The fire was extinguished. The cause of the fire is not yet known, the situation is under control," he said.

When asked about the losses and causes of the fire, he admitted that he could not explain further. However, Ujat confirmed that there were no casualties in the incident.

"For the time being there has been no report (victim)," he concluded.
