Specialist Thief In South Jakarta: Cars Will Be Easier To Steal

The suspect with the initials MA (39) admitted that the tau pick-up car is easier to steal than other types of cars. He revealed this in front of the Mampang Prapatan Police Chief, South Jakarta, Kompol Edy Purwanto during a press conference on the theft case.

"It's easier. It means the process won't take too long," said MA when asked by Kompol Edy Purwanto, Wednesday, September 25.

In fact, the Supreme Court admitted that he and his friends had stolen cars like open in several areas.

"It's been 7 times," he said.

Kompol Edy Purwanto added that if this gang targets pick-up cars parked on the side of the road, the target of the two cars is in the garage.

"There are areas in Cileungsi, Ciputat, Mampang Prapatan, Pasar Minggu, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta. Then for locations there are those on the side of the road and some are in the garage," he said

The Supreme Court used the letter T key until it was finally able to start the car engine. Then leave the scene quickly.

MA (39), SYA (43) and STO (43), were arrested by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Mampang Prapatan Police after receiving two reports of the same case, theft of a pickup truck.

Kompol Edy said that one of the three perpetrators arrested was the executor. Meanwhile, the other two perpetrators were the collectors of the stolen goods.

"We managed to secure 3 suspects with the initials MA, SYA, and STO," said Edy to reporters at the Mampang Prapatan Police, South Jakarta, Wednesday, September 25.
