Relaxing At Night Clubs, Men In South Jakarta Are Even Accused Of Being Thief

JAKARTA - A man with the initials APP is suspected of being the victim of a beating by an unknown number of people (OTK) who accuse him of being a thief.

The incident occurred at a nightclub in the Kemang area, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, Tuesday, September 24, at 03.19 WIB

"It is true that there has been an alleged beating," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indardi in his statement, Wednesday, September 25.

Kombes Ade Ary explained that the incident began when the victim was enjoying an entertainment atmosphere in the Kemang area, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. Then the victim tried to order an online motorcycle taxi (ojol) to take him home.

Suddenly, the perpetrators shouted at the victim as a thief. Suddenly the victim was immediately beaten by the perpetrators together until the APP was helpless.

"(Even though) the victim herself does not feel that she is taking other people's belongings," he said.

Luckily, other visitors were able to break up the action. The victim, who did not accept what happened to him, decided to make a police report.

"Cases are handled by the South Jakarta Restro. There are 3 perpetrators in the investigation," he concluded.
