Police Examine 5 Fire Witnesses Who Killed 3 Toddlers In Pulogadung

The East Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim conducted an examination of 5 witnesses related to the fire incident that scorched 19 houses and killed 3 toddlers in Pulogadung District, East Jakarta.

"There have been 5 witnesses who have been taken information. We are waiting for the results of the examination from the Forensic Laboratory, so far the results have not been released," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly when confirmed, Tuesday, September 24.

The crime scene (TKP) and the charcoal sample taken from the fire have been carried out by forensic experts from Puslabfor.

"All samples have been (carried from the crime scene), according to the Scientific Crime Investigation (SCI) procedure. Scientific Investigation should not be guessed, we must wait for the results from the laboratory," he said.

Meanwhile, the total number of burning buildings is 19 houses with 90 people from 30 families. The police ensure that if a criminal element is found, it will be processed.

"So the 1 house can be inhabited by 3 or 4 heads of families. If there are criminal indications, it must be processed. But this is in a densely populated settlement. From the initial information that the fire came from the house where the three children were victims of the fire," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the East Jakarta Metro Police police reviewed the location of the fire that killed three toddlers in RT 05/18, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta, Monday, September 23.
