JAKARTA - Three pairs of candidates for Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta read out the declaration of a peaceful campaign in the 2024 Pilkada together. The declaration was held by the DKI Jakarta KPU in front of the Jakarta History Museum or Fatahillah.

In the declaration, Ridwan Kamil-Soeswono, Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana, and Pramono Anung-Rano Karno promised to carry out the 2024 Pilkada by luber jurdil, campaign in integrity and in accordance with statutory regulations.

"We candidates for Governor and Deputy Governor, supporting parties, along with campaign teams and supporters promise; one, realizing direct elections that are free of honest and fair secrets; two, implementing a safe and peaceful voter campaign with integrity without hoaxes without politicization of sara and without money politics; three, implementing election campaigns based on applicable laws and regulations," said the declaration of three candidate pairs, Tuesday, September 23.

In addition to reading the declaration, three candidate pairs and supporting political parties (political parties) also signed an integrity pact containing a declaration of a peaceful campaign.

In his remarks, the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta KPU Wahyu Dinata advised the cagub-cawagub to carry out campaigns while educating the public regarding the implementation of the correct democracy contestation.

"Kegiatan kampanye juga merupakan kegiatan pendidikan masyarakat. Jadi mudah-mudahan di kegiatan kampanye ini Jakarta makin solid, Jakarta makin terintegrasi, bukan Jakarta yang makin terbagi karena kampanye kampanye yang ada," jelas Wahyu.

The Jakarta cagub-cawagub now have the serial number of the Jakarta Pilkada. In the plenary meeting for the draw and determination of the serial number held by the DKI Jakarta KPU, RK-Suswono received serial number 1, Dharma-Kun number 2, and Pramono-Rano serial number 3.

Ridwan Kamil-Suswono was promoted by 12 political parties. The details are the Gerindra Party, the Golkar Party, the Prosperous Justice Party, the NasDem Party, the National Awakening Party, the Indonesian Solidarity Party, the Democratic Party, the National Mandate Party, the Garuda Party, the Gelora Party, the Perindo Party, and the United Development Party.

Pramono-Rano was promoted by PDI Perjuangan and Hanura, while Dharma-Kun Wardana advanced as a candidate pair for an individual or independent pathway.
