Gunshot Sound Allegedly Triggered 7 Teens Jumping To Bekasi River

The sound of gunfire allegedly caused 7 teenagers to jump into the Bekasi River during a patrol by the Bekasi City Metro Police Precision Pioneer Team on Saturday, September 21, early in the morning.

The new fact that the gunshot was heard was based on the testimony of the witness with the initials R, who was at the scene at the time of the incident.

"R said, just once (shots), for the nakut - just scare him so that he can disperse," said Yanti, the older brother of the AD victim (16) to VOI at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, Monday, September 23, afternoon.

R is the brother of the victim who died with the initials AD (16). At the time of the incident, R and AD were at the same location.

"(Before running there was a gunshot?) The information was from R, so in the panic dispersal. There was a one-on-one Kali (Kali Bekasi), jumping," he said imitating R's words to him.

Yanti handed over the case to the police. The family hopes that if one of the 7 bodies is the body of AD (16) then it will immediately bring the body to be buried.

"If (the body) is fixed, it's Davi (Ahmad Davi), we just want to take it home," he said.

Meanwhile, from the statement from the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bekasi City Metro Police, Kompol Audy Joize Oroh emphasized that the series of events he knew were based on the results of the crime scene processing.

"The series, on Saturday morning at 3 WIB, there was a group of teenagers gathering at their basecamp about 30 vehicles. Witness statements were more than 50 people. Kompol Audy also confirmed that 9 members of the Bekasi City Metro Police Precision Pioneer Team were questioned by the Propam Polda Metro Jaya.

Previously, it was reported that the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) of the Metro Jaya Police confirmed that 7 teenagers who were found dead floating in the Bekasi River, Jatirasa Village, Jatiasih District, Bekasi City, were purely jumping.
